WORKPLACE EQUALITY

You should never be fired on the basis of your identity, whether it be gender, sex, gender expression, and/or sexual orientation. Workplace equality means that everyone has a right to a workplace free from discrimination and harassment, and we're working to make sure that employers follow the law.

Our clients bravely speak out against the discrimination they've faced at work. We represent clients who face workplace discrimination based on their status as pregnant or working parents, their gender identity and/or expression as trans folks, and/or their identity as women. Their cases often lead to the changes in employer policy, ensuring that no other employees go through what our clients have gone through.

Fighting against workplace discrimination is crucial to fighting for economic security. Being fired on the basis of your identity is wrong, whether it be gender identity, gender expression, sex, and/or sexual orientation. Your job should never be at risk because of who you are.  Read more about our work on economic security.
