Both the Advocacy Director and Legal Director will work closely with the Executive Director to translate our new strategic plan into action.

The Advocacy Director provides vision and direction for our policy, legislative, and social change advocacy program. The Advocacy Director will work to advance gender justice through policymaker education, legislative policy development and lobbying (within the limits of our 501c3 status), development of strategic partnerships, coalition-building, and administrative advocacy.

The Legal Director provides vision and direction for our litigation and legal advocacy program. The Legal Director manages the legal program and will develop and pursue a strategic vision that advances gender justice and civil rights in Minnesota through litigation, representation before administrative agencies, and direct legal advocacy. The Legal Director must have at least 10 years of legal experience, some of which should be in one or more of the following subject areas: constitutional law; civil rights; reproductive health, rights and justice; anti-discrimination law; gender-based violence; economic justice; LGBTQ rights.
