We are suing Sun Country Airlines for violations of both the Minnesota Human Rights Act and the Women’s Economic Security Act. Our client, a nursing mother, was subjected to a relentless campaign of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation that forced her out of work because of her need to pump.
With this lawsuit, we’re putting Sun Country and all employers on notice that Minnesota’s strong protections for pregnant and nursing parents in the workplace will be enforced and that the reprehensible treatment endured by this new mother should not happen to anyone else.
