Charge filed after teen harassed in restaurant bathroom
Gender Justice filed a charge of discrimination with the Minnesota Department of Human Rights on behalf of Gerika Mudra, a high school girl who was harassed by a server at Buffalo Wild Wings who accused her of being a boy in the girls’ bathroom. Her story struck a chord nationwide, spotlighting how anti-trans panic puts all women at risk — especially those who don’t conform to narrow, racialized ideas of what a woman is “supposed” to look like.
