It’s been a busy time lately, with lots happening in our work to combat gender based discrimination and advance the fight for bodily autonomy and trans rights, so here’s a wrap of all things Gender Justice!

We’re Suing Sun Country Airlines

You might’ve seen by now that Gender Justice and Lockridge Grindal Nauen PLLP are suing Sun Country Airlines for violating Minnesota’s Human Rights Act and Women’s Economic Security Act. Read about the case and our work to defend pumping rights at work!

Alliance for Justice Award

Our executive director, Megan Peterson, accepted an award from Alliance for Justice honoring Gender Justice’s work and achievements! Check out this highlight video of the award ceremony to learn more and hear from Megan and other awardees!

Fighting for Trans Liberation

This week was Trans Week of Awareness, a time for bringing attention and support to the trans community in advance of Trans Day of Remembrance on Monday. Check out this trans legislation tracker where you can see a summary of transphobic legislative attacks in the US to educate yourself and others on the historic threats that trans people are currently facing.
